Riser Filling Agent

Characteristics

This product spontaneously ignites and generates heat when exposed to high temperatures. After combustion, it forms a tight insulation film to prevent internal heat dissipation. It can delay the solidification time of the riser surface by 10-20 minutes.

It is used for sufficient shrinkage, solving porosity and shrinkage completely, the oxides, inclusions, and gases in the mold cavity have enough time to emerge from the metal surface to solve the slag blowhole problem.

Instructions

Add riser filling agent immediately when the metal liquid in the riser rises to the flat , and it must be added again after re-pouring.

The dosage depends on the material, thickness and size of the casting, usually 2~3 cm or 5~10 cm, if extra large piece, added the whole package.

Cautions

Do not pierce the insulation film after adding the reinforcing agent to prevent internal heat dissipation and solidify prematurely.
